 Dear I2 Parents,

As we begin Week 4, our lessons will become a little more focused as we prepare for the upcoming long holiday weekend. Please note that Friday, September 25, and Monday, September 28 (Week 5), are official holidays.

To make the most of our learning time, we will continue working through our lessons and activities according to our regular schedule.

Our Week 4 Unit Test will be held on Thursday, September 24, during Period 4, following a review lesson during Period 3. 

The test will include:

  • 15 selected Week 4 vocabulary words, definitions, and fill-in-the-blanks
  • 10 story comprehension questions, with pictorial clues and story references to help students demonstrate their understanding

I encourage students to:

  1. Listen carefully during our lessons and review activities.
  2. Complete their classwork and ask questions when they need help.
  3. Finish their homework and use it as an opportunity to practice.
  4. Review the Week 4 vocabulary and story for a few minutes each day.
  5. Come to Thursday's test ready to try their best and feel confident!

These small steps can make a big difference. The goal is not perfection; it is steady effort, practice, and progress. I want every student to feel prepared and proud of what they have learned.

Week 3 PPT   Story- The Abenaki As we officially begin the Grade 3 My View Literacy program, I am very proud to share that the students in I2 have shown tremendous enthusiasm and willingness to participate in our lessons. They are becoming more engaged in the learning process and are steadily developing a stronger understanding of the foundational skills we are working on in class. Their dedication to learning, positive attitudes, and enthusiasm for improving their English skills have been truly encouraging as their teacher.
