Dear Grade 3 I2 Students and Parents,
Welcome to a new and exciting school year!
It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you and your child to our Grade 3 I2 English class. I look forward to sharing this learning journey with each of our students and helping them discover that learning English can be both meaningful and enjoyable.
Grade 3 is an important year of growth. As our students continue developing their English abilities, our goal in I2 will be to create a patient, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels comfortable learning at a pace that allows them to understand, practice, and succeed.
Throughout the year, we will use MyView Literacy and our practice book as important learning tools. These materials will help us develop essential English foundations, including vocabulary, reading comprehension, phonics, grammar, sentence structure, writing, and communication skills. Rather than rushing through the material, we will take the time needed to strengthen these important building blocks.
Our lessons will follow a steady and supportive pace, with opportunities for students to review concepts, practice new skills, ask questions, and apply what they have learned. I believe that when children are given the time and encouragement they need, they can develop not only stronger academic skills but also greater confidence in themselves as learners.
One of my most important goals this year is to help our students develop a positive relationship with the English language. I want them to feel proud when they recognize a new word, understand a story, complete a sentence, read something independently, or confidently share an answer in class. These small moments of success are meaningful steps forward.
Every child learns differently, and progress does not always happen at the same speed. We will celebrate individual improvement and encourage students to focus on their own progress rather than comparing themselves with others. Mistakes will be treated as a natural and valuable part of learning. Our classroom will be a place where students can try, make mistakes, learn, and try again.
To Our I2 Students
I want you to know that you are capable of learning and growing. You do not need to know everything right away. You simply need to be willing to try, listen, practice, and keep going.
There may be times when English feels challenging, but that is okay. We will take it one step at a time. I will be here to guide you, encourage you, and celebrate your progress with you. My hope is that by the end of Grade 3, you will not only have stronger English skills, but also greater confidence in yourself and a stronger interest in learning English.
To Our Parents and Families
Your encouragement at home is an important part of your child's success. Please remember that learning a language takes time, patience, and consistent practice. Encouraging your child to read, review vocabulary, talk about what they learned, and celebrate their efforts can make a wonderful difference.
Most importantly, please help your child understand that progress is more important than perfection. A kind word of encouragement can give a child the confidence to keep trying when something feels difficult.
I am truly looking forward to getting to know each of our students and watching them grow throughout this school year. Together, I hope we can create a positive partnership between home and school and give every child the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to flourish.
Thank you for entrusting me with a part of your child's Grade 3 journey. I am excited for the year ahead and all the learning, growth, and wonderful moments we will share together.

很榮幸能歡迎您與孩子加入三年級 I2 英語班。我非常期待與每一位孩子一起走過這段學習旅程，並陪伴他們發現，學習英語不僅是一項重要的能力，也可以是一件有意義且令人感到愉快的事情。
三年級是一個充滿成長與進步的重要階段。隨著孩子們持續發展英語能力，我們在 I2 班的目標，是建立一個耐心、支持與充滿鼓勵的學習環境，讓每一位孩子都能按照適合自己的步調學習，在充分理解、練習與累積經驗的過程中逐漸獲得成功。
在這一學年中，我們將以 MyView Literacy 及英語練習本（Practice Book）作為重要的學習工具。透過這些教材，我們將逐步建立孩子們重要的英語基礎能力，包括單字、閱讀理解、自然發音（Phonics）、文法、句型結構、寫作以及溝通能力。
我們不會急著完成所有的學習內容，而是會給予孩子足夠的時間，將每一項重要的基礎能力一步一步建立起來。穩固的基礎，是未來持續進步與學習的重要關鍵。
我們的課程將採取穩定且適合孩子學習需求的步調，並提供充分的機會讓學生複習已學過的概念、練習新的技能、提出問題，以及實際運用所學的內容。
我相信，當孩子獲得足夠的時間、耐心與鼓勵時，他們不僅能逐漸提升學習能力，也能建立對自己的信心，並相信自己是有能力學會的。
今年我最重要的目標之一，就是幫助孩子們與英語建立正面且愉快的連結。
我希望孩子們能在認識一個新單字、理解一個故事、完成一個句子、獨立讀完一段文字，或是在課堂上勇敢地分享自己的答案時，感受到成就感並為自己感到驕傲。
這些看似微小的進步，其實都是孩子成長過程中非常重要的一步。
每個孩子都有自己獨特的學習方式，而每個人的進步速度也不盡相同。因此，我們會珍惜並肯定每一位孩子自己的進步，並鼓勵孩子將注意力放在自己的成長，而不是與其他同學比較。
在我們的教室裡，犯錯會被視為學習過程中自然且有價值的一部分。我希望我們的教室是一個孩子可以勇敢嘗試、即使犯錯也不害怕、從錯誤中學習，然後再次嘗試的地方。
給 I2 班的孩子們
我希望你們知道，你們都有學習與成長的能力。
你不需要一開始就什麼都會，也不需要害怕自己現在還不懂。你只需要願意嘗試、聆聽、練習，並且繼續努力。
有時候，英語學習可能會讓你覺得有些困難，但沒有關係。我們會一次學習一小步，一點一點地進步。
老師會陪著你、引導你、鼓勵你，也會和你一起為每一個進步感到開心與驕傲。
我希望到了三年級結束時，你們不僅擁有更好的英語能力，也能對自己更有信心，並且對學習英語產生更多的興趣與喜愛。
給親愛的家長與家庭
家庭中的鼓勵，是孩子學習與成長非常重要的一部分。
請記得，學習一種語言需要時間、耐心以及持續的練習。鼓勵孩子閱讀、複習單字、和家人分享今天學到的內容，並且肯定他們所付出的努力，都能為孩子帶來很大的幫助。
最重要的是，希望我們能一起讓孩子明白：
「進步比完美更重要。」
當孩子遇到困難或覺得自己做不到時，一句溫暖的鼓勵，往往就能給予他們繼續嘗試的勇氣與信心。
我非常期待在這個學年中逐漸認識每一位孩子，陪伴他們學習、成長，並看見他們一步一步的進步。
我也希望我們能建立一個正向、信任且互相支持的家庭與學校合作關係，共同給予每一位孩子所需要的支持、鼓勵與學習機會，讓他們在自己的步調中茁壯成長。
